As an emergency medicine physician and officer on the U.S. Army health care team, you’ll have access to the latest and most advanced technology and techniques. You’ll lead a well-trained critical response team when patients require immediate medical attention. Working alongside many dedicated professionals at the top of their fields in one of our state-of-the-art medical facilities.</p>
<p>As part of the U.S. Army Medical Corps, you may conduct research, participate in graduate medical education, perform special functions in health support, conduct and supervise patient care and health promotion programs and examine, diagnose and treat patients.</p>
<p>Benefits include, up to $120,000 to repay qualifying loans to lending institutions; $220,000 signing (accession) bonus, travel opportunities, to include humanitarian missions, 30 days of paid vacation earned annually, a military retirement system that blends the traditional legacy retirement pension with a defined contribution to service members’ Thrift Savings Plan account and No-cost or low-cost medical and dental care for you and your family.</p>
<p>Education loans (up to $40,000 maximum per year), specialized training assistance and a monthly stipend of more than 2,275 while enrolled in an accredited residency program.</p>

<p>As an Emergency Medicine Physician on the U.S. Army Reserve health care team, you’ll be on the frontline in treating patients who require immediate medical attention. You’ll may also perform staff functions in health support, participate in the education and training of personnel and examine and diagnose and treat the initial phase of disease or injury.</p>
