<p>The<strong> Faculty Physicians Inc. (FPI) of University of Maryland School of Medicine</strong> is currently seeking a candidate for a <strong>Physician Assistant</strong> or <strong>Nurse Practitioner</strong> to work in the Critical Care Department at <strong>University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center (UMCRMC)</strong>, located in Cheverly, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC. UMCRMC is an acute care teaching hospital and regional referral center.</p><p>Job Specifics:</p><ul> <li>Responsibilities include assisting attending Intensivist in all aspects of hospital care for critical care patients including central lines, arterial lines, and hemodialysis catheters placements</li> <li>Work 6 (12-hour) shifts (7AM - 7PM or 7PM - 7AM) every two weeks (36-hours/week)</li> <li>Department comprises of 10 APP's and 10 physicians</li> <li>Round in the ICU/CCU/IMC with primary responsibilities in Surgical Critical Care, service lines and IMC</li> <li>No call from home. <strong><u>All Calls are in house</u></strong></li> <li>New grads are welcome to apply</li></ul><p>Successful candidate will be a <strong>graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner </strong>program with concentrated area of study <strong>Acute Care Nursing</strong> or completed <strong>an accredited</strong> <strong>Physician Assistant program</strong> with appropriate certification exams. <p>District Medical Group Inc. (DMG), a 400+ physician not for profit multispecialty faculty practice group which exclusively contracts to provide clinical, administrative and teaching services to Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS), a 550-bed health system (Maricopa Medical Center and 3 psychiatric hospitals) with a Level I Trauma Center, a Level I Burn Center and a Level III OB Unit, and 11 Family Health Centers is seeking a BC/BE pulmonologist/intensivist to join the Department of Medicine at DMG</p>
<p>The faculty will provide a full scope of pulmonologist/intensivist practice which includes teaching opportunities with Pulm/CC fellows, IM residents and medical students. Administrative time and opportunities for research available.</p>
<p>DMG is an affiliated academic partner for the Creighton University School of Medicine Academic Alliance with MIHS and Dignity/St. Joseph’s Medical Center as well as with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale. Faculty appointments to each medical school available commensurate with qualifications.</p>
