Some of the doctors do injections, but their desire is for someone to focus on pain management with a broad range of skills. Very little medication management involved. An urgent physical medicine and rehabilitation or pain management physician opportunity is now available in Georgia. This is a unique opportunity to learn the business side of medicine. They have a clinical research company within the practice so you can be involved in academics and clinical trials as well. You will see a combination of acute and chronic pain. They write very few opioid prescriptions so medication management is minimal. You will work in the outpatient office Monday through Friday with no call or weekends. The office has an APC and a large support staff. Applicants should can be PM&R board certified or eligible within the five year window. Candidates must have pain experience, but does not need a pain fellowship, though one would be an advantage.
